Tour Details

Vacation Buggy offers you an opportunity to quickly and conveniently get acquainted with the local area, explore the incredible rainforest, view our fantastic waterfalls or have Vacation Buggy play part in your destination wedding by taking the bride/groom, photographer and wedding party to a few very cool photo spots. Our unique and exciting Private tours will take you, your friends, family or groups (up to 16 guests), to many of the cool places that you normally can’t get to….with one of the coolest vehicles created – our NEW ATV Limousine!

Tours are over mild to moderate terrain, possibly through creeks, deep into the jungle/rainforest or on Costa Rica’s incredible beaches and riverbeds, making this perfect for couples, the entire family with young children all the way up to your grandparents.  We can also accommodate most handicapped with our safe and secure Buggys.  Our tours start out with a general overview of what you will experience on each particular tour and our knowledgeable guides are prepared to provide a very educational, fun and exciting experience.

All of our tours offer ample photo opportunities, so bring your camera and take home some fantastic memories.

Things to bring

• Camera
• Poncho for our rainy season
• Sandals or comfortable shoes for most tours but Hiking/Water shoes for the Waterfall tour
• Bathing suit and towel for some of our tours (Waterfall, Certain Private tours)
• Sunglasses
• A big smile…………….

Things to wear

All tours vary but we have found that you will be most comfortable with very casual clothing – shorts, light shirt, sandals or hiking or water shoes, and definitely, your camera.  Also, since we are in the rainforest, sudden rainfall can happen so be prepared with clothing that you don’t mind getting wet…

For our Waterfall and some of our Private tours, swimming attire is recommended..

Interesting fact about our Buggy

The owners of Vacation Buggy designed this custom vehicle  in the United States before shipping it to Costa Rica, and sized this very unique ATV limousine to accommodate your entire family or group – up to 16 guests – with two Buggies!  We incorporated a roof and removable windshield to protect our passengers from the ever changing weather, provided ample storage for items such as backpacks and coolers. We modified the engine to get up the steepest climbs, added a lift kit to give us 15 inches of clearance, installed a stereo system with marine grade speakers along with a P.A. system for our tours as well as many other unique features.   These are one of a kind machines geared to “Go ­­­Anywhere”!

Vacation Buggy is an environmentally aware company, so we ask all of our participants to respect the jungle, beach, and the animals we may see. Please do not litter and respect the others along for the ride.

All tours are subject to change or cancellation without notice by Vacation Buggy and we reserve the right to refuse participant entry to any tour.
